System Requirements
    System Requirements Windows:
  • Windows 95 or later
  • Sound Card
  • 32 MB RAM
  • 8 MB of Hard Disk Space
  • Color Monitor
  • CD-ROM Drive
    System Requirements for Macintosh:
  • Power PC 120
  • System 8.1 or Later
  • 32 MB RAM
  • Color Monitor
  • CD ROM Drive

    To Run On Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP:
  • Insert CD
  • Double-click “My Computer”, then double-click the “Lighting” CD
  • Double-click “TLDIv2.exe”
    Note: On some networked Windows 2000 machines, and some Win XP machines, you may have difficulty using “TLDIv2” - in this case, please use the “TLDIxp” version in the “zcasts” folder.

NOTE:
Currently, TLDI V2.5 does not work on higher than OSX.1 ("Mountain Lion").
    This issue should be resolved with Version 3 due September, 2014.

To Run On Classic Macintosh (8.1 - 9+):

  • Insert CD
  • Open “Lighting” CD, double-click “TLDIv2”
    Note: On some systems, you will be asked to locate the file “truev2” which is located in the “OS_X” folder on the CD.

    To Run On Mac OS X (“Jaguar”):
  • Insert CD
  • Open “Lighting” CD, then the “OS_X” folder
  • Double-click “!TLDI OS X” to run the program
  • “Quicktime” must be installed to view the digital movies and “Adobe Acrobat Reader” is required to view the handout files. These programs are available on the CD, if you do not have them installed on your system already. These are the only programs you may need to install - the remainder of the program runs directly from the CD.

    For Best Results
  • Set your screen resolution to 800 x 600, 16-bit color
    Most of the program is designed for 640 x 480 resolution, except for the mini light lab.
  • Adjust your sound card / speaker to a comfortable level
  • Deactivate your screen saver, or give it a long delay time
