Upcoming & Current Projects

"Case 457" has been accepted in Fairbanks Drama Associaiton's 8x10 Play Festival, and will be performed April 15 & 16 at the Riverfront Theatre in Fairbanks!
Kade is currently working on finalizing his script for "The Messenger" - a hybrid live theatrical piece which will premiere November, 2011 followed by the DVD screening premiere in May, 2012! An information meeting about this project will be held April 26, 1:00pm in the "Green Room" - THR 101 Fine Arts Complex on campus.
Kade is the Lighting Designer and Technical Director for the University of Alaska Fairbanks Theatre Department, where he is a Professor and currently Department Head. Originally from New York, this workaholic designed the set & lighting for KTVF's News Center (NBC affiliate), the lighting for the Northstar Ballet's Nutcracker, and has lent his design expertise to most production groups in town including the Fairbanks Drama Association, Fairbanks Light Opera Theatre Company, Fairbanks Concert Association, and the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival.

Kade is the owner of Multimakers , a multimedia and World Wide Web site designing company through which he has published interactive, multimedia discs about lighting or sound design which are sale through Amazon.com.  He also produced a 4-disc set of Makeup for the Theatre instructional DVD’s with Tara Maginnis of Costumes.org fame.

Kade authored, directed and produced Water Stealers – an interactive science fiction adventure DVD, for which he won an Aurora Award (Best in show: Entertainment).

He has also written a few plays primarily used as lighting projects including: Case 457, A Night for Conversation and Foxhole.

Kade won “Best in show: Animation” at the Fairbanks Film Festival for his animated short “Love at First Light” and an honorable mention for his animated short “Hounds”.
